Safety Tips for Summers:
Sunrays are strongest in between 10 am to 3 pm. Avoid them as much as you can in this time zone.
Cover up with long sleeved, collared shirt and a wide brimmed hat. Pair of sunglasses help from UV radiation.
Reapply sunscreen often, ideally every hour if you are sweating or swimming or surfing.
Drink good quantity of water to keep you hydrated in summers.
Healthy Wafer Snacking:
Potato chips are passed. You can try these new and guilt free snacks.
APPLE: Bake thin slices, flip them halfway and dry them in the oven. All the goodness of the fruit if stored in air-tight containers lasts for a week.
BEETROOT: An excellent source of Vitamin B, antioxidants and potassium, cut the beetroots in to very thin slices and bake them with a little coconut oil (or of your preference/liking)
SOY: Rich in protein, fibres and iron and low in fat, soy chips are extremely popular with those who want to lose several pounds in a short period of time.
BANANA CHIPS: Slice banana in thin circles or length wise and fry them in coconut or oil of your choice. Sprinkle some pepper and salt to make them tasty
Salt and fat:
Excessive salt and fat in our diets is a major cause of chronic illnesses such as heart disease, stroke, and diabetes. Too much salt in your food can cause high blood pressure and make you three times more likely to develop heart disease or have a stroke.
